Why Izrunas?

I founded Izrunas in 2003, starting out with a focus on commercial funding in the private equity markets.  It became apparent that there were a many companies worthy of investment, but that lacked that certain "something" that prevented them from being able to obtain funds for their ventures.

Many small business owners are great at what they do, but lack expertise in business management, recruiting, or planning-- and thus are stuck at a certain size.  In the process of helping my clients obtain funding, I discovered that I was also helping them manage their businesses more effectively.

My favorite part of business is the rough and tumble of problem solving, rapid growth and the occasional bizarre challenge which allows me to learn and grow. I am always asking my clients, "Wouldn't it be great if..." in order to keep their minds open and focused on growth.

The key to my success is related to the way I talk with my consulting clients. I attempt to guide them in a way that achieves results, and although I might not say what someone "wants to hear," the things I say need to be said.

No one person, nor even an entire firm, has "all the answers." But Izrunas has a proven track record of results. If I don't already have the answer, I'll develop a process or road map to achieve the desired outcome.

I am a great advocate of the "strengths movement" in business management and often start with new clients by determining these strengths.  It is my absolute belief that we can all achieve success only by focusing on what we are good at-- and hiring the rest.  My own strengths include:

  • Futuristic -- Always striving for innovation by asking, "Wouldn't it be great if...?"
  • Strategic -- Always seeing the path to achieve results
  • Command -- Possessing significant leadership talent
  • Relator -- Enjoys working in teams to solve challenges and achieve greater results
  • Analytical -- Looks at reality as it really is and draws rational conclusions

As you can see, I am ideally suited to my work--and to helping businesses grow and prosper.  I spend every day focusing on my strengths and bringing them to bear on behalf of my clients.
